Whether your Minuteman student graduated 40 years ago or just last spring, we want to keep the strong bond you have with Maranatha!

Parents of Alumni are an important part of the Maranatha High School community. We love hearing from you, having you come and visit, and having you share your family updates with us. Here are a few opportunities to stay connected with the MHS community.
  • Reconnect with friends and Maranatha staff by attending an Alumni Office or MHS event! Cheer for the Minutemen at sporting events, attend a MHS theater performance, catch up with friends at an alumni sports game, support MHS at the Annual Benefit, or watch arts alumni perform at the annual Alumni Revue.
  • Brag about your alumni! Parents of Alumni are our best source of information about our alumni. Please send the Alumni Office pictures and stories about your MHS alums by emailing alumni@mhs-hs.org.
  • Support the General Fund, or designate a gift to a program that had a special impact on your child(ren).
  • Volunteer at MHS! Maranatha has a variety of needs that range from marketing projects, event coordination, laundering, and much more. If you are interested in serving at Maranatha in a particular way, or if you would just love to be back on campus helping out, please contact the Alumni Office to set up a meeting.
Please consider how you can continue your involvement with MHS. When you stay connected, you share your ongoing pride in our school, your gratitude for the education your children received, and an appreciation for lasting friendships made throughout the years! The Alumni Office is here to facilitate your involvement with MHS. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions, concerns, or ideas about how you can stay connected with Maranatha.

  • Q: WHAT IS MARANATHA’S CURRENT CAMPUS LIKE?

In May 2004, Maranatha High School purchased over 8 acres of the former Ambassador College Campus located in Pasadena, California to serve as the school’s permanent campus home. We opened our doors at this campus in 2005, and have loved the campus ever since. Our facilities are gorgeous! Our Academic Center houses 30 classrooms which include science, biology, chemistry and physics labs, as well as state-of-the-art photography and Mac labs. The school’s Athletic Center is home to an indoor competition-size swimming pool, a full-size gymnasium, weight rooms, and locker rooms. The Student Center houses the school’s kitchen and cafeteria, library, and administrative offices. The school’s grounds include a flowing stream adjacent to the Academic Center and green space for our students to study outside. The Student Center Annex is comprised of the school’s Business Office, Information Services, and Facilities Department.
  • Q: HOW CAN I CONNECT WITH OTHER CLASSMATES?

The Maranatha High School Alumni Office does not give out any alumni information without receiving permission to do so first. Feel free to contact the Alumni Office for help in locating a lost classmate, and we will pass along information after we have received permission from the alum you are interested in connecting with.
  • Q: HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED WITH MY ALMA MATER?

We need you, our alums, to stay involved with MHS. There are a number of ways you can get involved at Maranatha to give back to the community.

Class Representative – Become a Class Representative and act as a liaison between your class and MHS. Class reps can help with things such as: collecting updated contact information on classmates, informing classmates of alumni-related events at school, helping plan reunions or other alumni events, and encouraging classmates to be involved.

Attend a School Event – Alumni are welcome and encouraged to attend general school functions such as sporting events, school plays, graduation, etc.

Attend an Alumni Event – There are numerous events open especially for alumni including Alumni sporting events.

Work or Volunteer Your Skills at MHS – Many alums have come back to work at Maranatha. Whether as a faculty/staff or a coach, we are proud to employ Maranatha alumni! MHS alums also volunteer their skills in numerous ways around campus, as mentors, coaches, interns, speakers, and sharing professional trades.

Volunteer with the Alumni Office – Maranatha's Alumni Office welcomes alumni to come back and volunteer. There is plenty to do including sorting through/organizing archive materials, making calls to update the alumni database, putting together alumni care packages, helping with printed material for alumni, and to helping organize Alumni events and sporting events.
  • Q: HOW ARE REUNIONS ORGANIZED?

Class Reunions are organized by members of each class. Alumni may look to their class representatives or other senior class leadership to organize reunions, but any member of the class can coordinate and/or help with a reunion. The Alumni Office is available to lend guidance and assist with contact information as needed. The school is also happy to alert alums of reunions on our website and in other communication tools.
