Tuition Assistance

Although all families are expected to contribute toward their tuition, Maranatha High School does offer tuition assistance based on financial need for families that qualify. Families interested in applying for tuition assistance will need to complete an online application with Clarity. Applications will be available beginning October 1, 2025 for the 2026-2027 school year (link below). All information from Clarity remains confidential and is reviewed by the school. You must apply for financial aid each year, using the online application. After applying, you will need to upload any additional documents needed. Please be aware that the online tuition assistance application needs to be completed by your application deadline. Please contact the Admissions office at (626) 817-4020 with any questions.

  • Q: Why did Maranatha choose Clarity?

    We have chosen Clarity as our financial aid application provider in order to better serve both our current and prospective families. We are confident that this change is going to make the process of applying for financial aid easier for families.
  • Q: How does Clarity make it easier for me to apply for financial aid?

    Clarity offers a streamlined, mobile friendly application that can be completed in as short a time as 20 minutes. Additionally, Clarity removes the need to upload your 2024 W2 and 1040 by transferring them directly from the IRS. This reduces the amount of information that you will need to enter manually and makes it possible to complete the application quickly and efficiently.
  • Q: Is my information secure with Clarity?

    Maranatha High School takes the privacy and security of your personal information very seriously. Clarity is certified for both GDPR and SOC2 and uses enterprise-level security standards including end-to-end encryption of all personally identifiable information.   • Q: How will this impact my award?

    Just as in prior years, if your financial circumstances have not changed, you will not see significant changes to your award. If you have any questions about your individual circumstance, please reach out to us.
  • Q: Will I still need to apply every year?

    Yes, you will need to submit a Clarity application each year in order to qualify for financial aid; however, Clarity retains your information from previous applications, so it will be even easier to reapply.
  • Q: Can I complete my Clarity application on my phone or tablet?

    Yes! Clarity’s application is fully mobile-friendly so you have access wherever you are.
  • Q: When do I need to apply?

    You must submit your full completed application by {school FA application date}.
  • Q: I live outside the United States. Can I still apply for financial aid through Clarity?

    Yes, along with the student's application, all families must fill out the Clarity application to the best of their ability including the Non-US Tax Filer Verification upload.

    If you live in Canada, you will be prompted to upload your T1, T4 and Notice of Assessment.

A few notes regarding the FAST online application

  • The app fee is $60 per household. If you are applying to multiple schools who also use Clarity, you will only need to pay the fee once. 
  • On the application, please use your name as it appears on your tax return.
  • The online application process is self-guided. You can partially complete an application and go back to it another time if you don’t want to complete the application in one sitting. The app is also mobile friendly!
  • Clarity encourages families to use the Quick Reference Guide along with the Family Applications Guide as you complete your application, but if you need more assistance, feel free to contact Clarity via email at support@clarityapp.com
  • Please be sure to consider all your monthly and annual expenses, and include any additional expenses (not already reported) in the "out of pocket expenses" section. 
  • Ensure all necessary documents are uploaded to the application under "Document Requests". Tax Returns will automatically be pulled by Clarity, so no need to upload any yourself!
