Homecoming 2025: A Time of Celebration and Connection
It’s Homecoming Week at Maranatha! October 6–11 is packed with traditions that showcase our school spirit, celebrate our students and alumni, and bring the whole community together. Join us and invite a friend to share in the joy on campus.
Student Activities
- Spirit Week (Mon-Fri, October 6-10): Show your pride with themed dress days and friendly House competitions all week long. Earn points for your House by bringing the most spirit!
- Mon 10/6 – House Colors
- Tue 10/7 – Beach Day
- Wed 10/8 – (Uniform Required due to MAP/PSAT/SAT testing day)
- Thu 10/9 – Twin Day
- Fri 10/10 – Red, White & Blue Day
- Mid-Autumn Festival (Mon 10/6, lunch, Student Center): our annual tradition of mooncakes, tea, and sweet rice balls—celebrating culture and community.
- Spike Ball Tournament (Oct. 6–9, lunch, athletic field): Students and faculty will compete, so come cheer them on.
- Fall Hall Decorating (Wed 10/8): Join Student Council President Mia to create colorful, welcoming spaces across campus.
- Fall Pep Rally: Let’s get the energy going by honoring our fall athletes.
Friday Highlights (Oct. 10)
- Athletics Hall of Fame Ceremony & Reception (5:00 pm): The Athletics Department will celebrate its 2025 inductees—Katie Quatro Kriteman ’98, Devyn Netz ’20, Dawson Netz ’19, Max Blessinger ’19, and Bill Shupper (In Memoriam).
- Homecoming Football Game (7:00 pm, Keith Family Field): Cheer on the Minutemen! Alumni are invited to our on-field Alumni Zone with complimentary swag, food, and other perks.
- Halftime: Your Homecoming Court includes: Freshman (Prince) Christopher Hahn and (Princess) Hope Pursel; Sophomore (Prince Berton Lau and (Princess) Emily Cornejo; and Junior (Prince) Richard Lai and (Princess) Marisol Fernandez. Then, watch for the halftime coronation of your 2025 Homecoming King and Queen! Your nominees include:
- Senior Princes: Quinn Imasaki, Griffin Lee, Akeylee Lee (Chen)
- Senior Princesses: Presley Tanaka, Talia Ashrafian, Anna Bowers
Saturday Events (Oct. 11)
- Homecoming Dance (6:30–11:00 pm, Student Center, students only): Get ready for an unforgettable night of Saturday Night Fever! Experience the thrill of non-stop music and dancing as our DJ spins the hottest tracks, keeping the energy high all night long. Plus, enjoy hors d'oeuvres, the 5D Ride Truck, the photo booth, and delectable treats from the Handels Ice Cream Truck! Tickets are only on sale through October 8th! Purchase online HERE.
- Alumni Milestone Brunch: 10:00–11:30 am, Student Center. We’re welcoming alumni from the classes of 2015, 2005, 1995, 1985, and 1975 for brunch and a campus tour.
