Classroom Modernization Project

At Maranatha High School, we are committed to creating an environment that fosters academic excellence and spiritual growth. For the 2025-2026 school year, we’re continuing our goal to raise $125,000 to modernize five classrooms in our Academic Center. The enhancements include new modular student desks and chairs, along with new teacher workstations and upgraded flooring—designed to facilitate active learning and create collaborative environments.

 

Research shows that investing in optimal classroom furniture can significantly enhance not just the physical space but also the dynamics of teaching and learning. By selecting the right chairs and tables, we can bolster student interaction, concentration, participation, and motivation. A well-designed classroom setup encourages engagement, responsiveness, and an intrinsic desire to learn.

 

Numerous studies underscore the impact of the physical environment on student outcomes. These studies confirm that when classrooms are designed with both function and student well-being in mind, it results in students transforming into proactive learners. Thus, allocating funds for classroom updates is not just an aesthetic upgrade; it's an investment in enhancing the quality of education for every student who walks through our doors.
