Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with Us!

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a cherished tradition in many Asian cultures, dating back more than 3,000 years as a harvest festival.

Families would gather to celebrate the season’s bounty, admire the full moon under glowing lanterns, and enjoy special treats together. Mooncakes and sweet rice balls—both circular in shape—symbolize “togetherness” and are at the heart of the celebration.

Maranatha’s International Student Program invites our community to experience this beautiful tradition at our Mid-Autumn Festival celebration on Monday, October 6, during lunch in the Student Center. We’ll continue our annual tradition of sharing mooncakes, tea, and sweet rice balls—a taste of culture and community you won’t want to miss.

Come join us as we honor this meaningful festival and celebrate the spirit of togetherness!
