As we reflect on these six decades, we do so with hearts full of gratitude. We are reminded of God’s unwavering faithfulness and the vision of those who came before us, the men and women who followed His leading, stepped out in obedience, and laid the foundation for the school we cherish today.
Throughout this anniversary year, we will be sharing stories that honor our rich heritage—stories of transformation, calling, and courage. We’ll reflect on the values that continue to guide us, celebrate the lives changed within our classrooms, and remember the names of those whose faithful leadership helped bring Maranatha to where it is today, including visionaries like Don Oliver, Jack Green, and John Rouse, who shepherded our school with wisdom and conviction.
We’ve called several campuses “home” over the years, but for the past 20 years, God has blessed us with our current location in the heart of Pasadena, a place where our mission continues to thrive. Each step of the journey has been marked by His provision.
As we look back, we also look ahead. Our 60th anniversary theme, A Legacy of Education… Forged in Faith, Built on Christ, is not only a tribute to our past but also a call to remain steadfast in our purpose. At a time when students need truth, identity, and hope more than ever, we are committed to continuing our mission to equip the whole student through academics, arts, athletics, and service for the glory of God.
As we celebrate this diamond anniversary, we do so standing on the shoulders of those who came before us and with confidence in the One who goes before us still.
We invite our families, alumni, and friends to join us throughout the year as we celebrate this extraordinary milestone. Our Diamond Jubilee Gala will take place on March 21, 2026, and promises to be a memorable evening of reflection, fellowship, and vision for the future.
Thank you for being part of the Maranatha story. Here’s to 60 years and the many more to come.
