Athletics News and Game Schedule: March 24-29
Check out these Spring sports updates and this week’s athletic events.
Boys’ Varsity Tennis kicks the week off with an away match on Monday vs. California Academy of Math & Science at 3:30 pm and finishes the week with an away match on Thursday at 3:30 pm at Garey High School/Pomona.
Congratulations to Track and Field for their latest team individual placements in Olympic League Meet #1 at Heritage Christian last Thursday:
- Deanna McKellop - 1st place in Women's 200m, 2nd place in Women's 100M
- Aiden Funn - 1st place in Men's High Jump
- Alicia Chung - 4th place Women's Triple Jump
- Joaquin Mariani - 5th place in Men's Long Jump
- Niko Lareau - 5th place in Men's Shot Put
Varsity Baseball plays in the Boras Classic Tournament this Tuesday through Friday. The team takes on their first opponent, Vista Murrieta, on Tuesday at 3:30 pm at JSerra High School. Games on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday of this week for Varsity Baseball will be posted as they are scheduled.
Golf is currently 3-0 and are set to face two local opponents this week: South Pasadena on Tuesday at Alhambra GC, and San Marino on Thursday at Brookside GC. Both matches are scheduled for 3:30 pm start times.
Softball will host Whittier Christian this Thursday for the team’s first Olympic League game. Softball games are played at Jefferson Park in Pasadena and begin at 3:15 pm.
Swim and Dive will take on Rosemead High School this Tuesday at 3:30 pm at Maranatha as they continue their season success.
