Athletics News and Game Schedule: Nov. 10-15

Kudos to our Football and Girls’ Tennis teams for their exciting playoff runs this season!

Both programs wrapped up their seasons last Friday. The Girls’ Varsity Tennis team fell to Golden Valley High School, 14–4, in Round 2 of the Division 5 playoffs. Football’s season also came to a close after a hard-fought battle against Baldwin Park High School in Round 1 of the Division 11 playoffs.

Winter Practices This Week:

Boys’ Soccer: Monday 4:00–5:30 pm, Tuesday 12:00–2:00 pm, Wednesday 3:45–5:45 pm, Thursday 5:15–6:45 pm, and Friday 2:00–3:45 pm
Girls’ Soccer: Monday 6:30–8:00 pm, remainder of the week TBD
Girls’ Basketball: Monday/Wednesday 3:45–5:45 pm, Tuesday/Thursday 6:00–8:00 pm
Boys’ Basketball: Monday/Wednesday 6:00–8:00 pm, Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 3:45–5:45 pm

Weekly Updates:

Cross Country: Congratulations to our Varsity Boys’ Cross Country Team for qualifying for CIF-SS Prelims by placing in the top 3 in the Olympic League Final! The team now prepares for Friday’s races at Mt. San Antonio College on November 14 at 10:00 am. Good luck, Minutemen!
