National Honor Society Applications Now Open
NHS recognizes students who exemplify scholarship, service, leadership, and character—the pillars that have defined the organization for over a century. Chapters across the U.S. and around the world invite high-achieving, service-minded students to grow as leaders and serve their communities.
Who Can Apply
Applications for Maranatha’s NHS Chapter 34685 are open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The application is a Google Form (with short writing prompts) and requires a parent/guardian acknowledgment. Click HERE to apply.
Eligibility & Expectations
- GPA: Minimum 3.2 based on your most recent Semester 2 grades, and maintain 3.2+ this school year.
- Service: Complete 20 hours of community service this year. (Independent and school-provided opportunities will be available.)
- Conduct: Remain in good standing with the Deans.

- Application deadline: Monday, October 6, 2025, at 11:59 PM
- Notification of acceptance: Monday, October 13, 2025
Returning Members
NHS members from 2024–2025 do not need to reapply. Instead, please confirm your continuation with NHS leadership (Nora Wang, Lauren Tang, Nicholas Lareau) by Tuesday, September 23 (email or in person).
