Student Security Awareness Presentation
Maranatha High School has invited Chameleon Associates, a global leader in security training and consulting, to speak to students during Community time on Monday, October 6.
The age-appropriate presentation will emphasize building a caring campus culture, the importance of looking out for one another, and the role each person plays in maintaining a safe environment. Topics include recognizing and reporting concerning behavior, separating fact from myth about school security threats, developing decision-making skills under stress, and staying safe online in today’s digital world.
In addition to the student session, faculty and staff will also receive specialized training, reinforcing Maranatha’s campus-wide commitment to safety and care.
Families who prefer their student not participate may email Serene Babikian or Aaron Holbert by Friday, October 3, and we will provide a supervised alternative activity during that time.
