A Safe, Secure Campus So Students Can Learn and Thrive

Safety begins with people. Maranatha maintains professional security coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. During school hours, an armed officer is on duty, providing a calm and visible presence while collaborating closely with school leadership. Our goal is not to create fear, but to foster confidence—so students and teachers can focus on teaching and learning.

Our campus is supported by more than 100 security cameras with industry-leading features that help us monitor activity across school grounds. These tools expand visibility for our security team and assist with incident response and documentation. Just as important, we use technology thoughtfully and responsibly, with care for student dignity and privacy.

This year, we completed new fencing around the Academic Center to further define learning spaces and guide visitors to the right entrances. Improvements like these are part of a layered approach to safety that helps us maintain a warm, welcoming environment while safeguarding the daily rhythms of school life.

Safety is not a checklist—it’s a habit. We regularly review and refine our safety practices, evaluate what’s working, and make improvements where needed. We communicate clearly with our community, coordinate across departments, and remain attentive to best practices in school safety. Most of all, we aim to be prepared and calm in every circumstance.
