Athletics News and Game Schedule: April 13-18

We are entering an exciting stretch with league play and tournament action as our student-athletes continue to compete with excellence and represent Maranatha with pride. Take a look at what’s ahead for the week below.
 
It’s a packed week for Baseball across all levels. Tuesday features both JV (vs. Crescenta Valley) and Varsity (vs. Village Christian) teams competing. On Wednesday, the Frosh team faces La Cañada, followed by a Varsity game on Thursday against Village Christian. Varsity closes the regular week on Friday against Village Christian, with a Saturday showcase game at the Perfect Game SoCal Showdown (TBD/Pacifica/Garden Grove) and a Frosh contest vs. Arcadia. 
 
Boys’ Volleyball has a strong slate with both JV and Varsity competing on Tuesday against Valley Christian/Cerritos. They return Thursday to take on Whittier Christian at both levels.
 
Boys’ Golf - The week begins with both JV and Varsity in action against Mark Keppel and Village Christian on Monday. Varsity continues on Tuesday against San Marino, followed by another match on Wednesday versus Valley Christian/Cerritos. The week wraps up on Friday with a Varsity matchup against La Salle.     

Varsity Boys’ Tennis competes on Wednesday against New Roads.

Swimming & Diving is preparing for their next meet versus Da Vinci on Monday, April 20.

Thursday is a big day for Track & Field, with both the boys' and girls' squads competing. Varsity athletes will participate in the Olympic League Invitational #2, while additional JV events take place the same day.  

Varsity Softball takes the field on Tuesday against Village Christian, and returns Thursday for another league matchup against Valley Christian/Cerritos.
