Maranatha’s Summer Academy is an extension of our commitment to academic and co-curricular excellence, tailored to help students from all grades achieve their academic goals. Whether you're looking to gain academic credit, require enrichment or remediation, or wish to explore new interests, the Summer Academy is your gateway to success. Students can immerse themselves in a focused learning environment, ideal for tackling an Honors course, completing a Core course for more flexibility during the school year, or catching up on credits. In collaboration with Inspirit AI, Maranatha introduces a groundbreaking, in-person, pre-college artificial intelligence program. This project-based initiative, led by distinguished Stanford and MIT graduates, promises to unravel the mysteries of AI. Participants from grades 8-12 will explore AI's foundational concepts and real-world applications, from ChatGPT to autonomous vehicles, and even its role in combating the COVID-19 pandemic. This program is designed to ignite curiosity and passion for AI, with no prior computer science experience necessary. Over nine sessions, students will engage in programming, ethical discussions, and a group project that applies AI to critical disciplines like healthcare and finance. The program, available at a special rate for Maranatha students, offers an unparalleled 31.5 hours of hands-on learning.
