Honoring Mr. John Rouse's Remarkable Journey at Maranatha High School

This summer, we bid a fond and heartfelt farewell to a figure who has been at the forefront of Maranatha High School's journey for four decades. Mr. John Rouse, our esteemed Head of School, is set to retire, leaving behind a legacy of unwavering commitment and transformative leadership.

 

Mr. Rouse's journey with Maranatha began 40 years ago, and his impact has been immeasurable. Under his guidance, MHS has flourished, growing not just in numbers, but in spirit, character, and excellence. His vision for our school was one of not only academic achievement but of building a community where each student is seen, valued, and nurtured to realize their God-given potential. 

 

To honor Mr. Rouse's monumental contribution and to celebrate the countless lives he has touched, we are hosting a retirement celebration luncheon. This special event will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm on The Keith Family Field. It will be an opportunity for the Maranatha community—students, families, alumni, and staff—to gather in gratitude for Mr. Rouse's dedication and to commemorate his steadfast leadership that has steered MHS through four decades of growth and success.

 

This celebration is not just an event but a testament to the profound effect Mr. Rouse has had on our community.
