Homestay Families Gathered

Each year, approximately 17 families open their homes to one of Maranatha’s international students.

To equip and support these homestay families, the school hosts a training session each semester. These gatherings provide a great opportunity for host families to get together, support one another, and share resources.

On Saturday, August 27, the school held their Fall semester Homestay Family Training. Host families got together to learn from Dr. Matthew Ketterling how to effectively share the gospel with the international students living in their homes. They also enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship and sharing over lunch.

Angeline Chew, Interim Co-Director of the International Student Program, shared, “We are so grateful to all our host families and value their partnership in caring for our international students.”
