Athletics News & Game Schedule: Sept. 18-23

The Maranatha Football Team stands at 4-1 after the team's 58-33 victory against Western Christian on Friday. The team heads into Cottonwood League play now and will face the Hamilton Bobcats of Anza, CA on Friday, Sept. 22 at 7:00 pm.  

 

Boys’ JV Football takes the field for the first time this year as they are set to host a 4:00 pm home game vs. St. Anthony's of Long Beach on Thursday, Sept. 21!

 

The Girls’ Varsity Volleyball Team is now 9-8 overall with a 1-1 Olympic League record after a 3-0 sweep of Whittier Christian last Thursday. The team is set to take on Valley Christian on Tuesday at home, and will face Pasadena HS at home on Wednesday, Sept. 20. Games are scheduled as follows: Frosh at 4:00 pm, JV at 5:00 pm, and Varsity at 6:15 pm. 

 

The Girls’ Varsity Tennis Team is currently 4-2 and now begins Olympic League play against Village Christian on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 3:30 pm; the game will be played at Glendale Community College. The Lady Minutemen will also play host to Whittier Christian on Thursday, Sept. 21. Our home games are played at Pasadena High School at 3:30 pm. 

 

The Cross Country Team travels to Buena Park this Tuesday, Sept 19, to run in the Olympic League Race #1, hosted at Ralph B. Clark Park. Teams are set to begin running at 4:00 pm.
