Athletics News and Game Schedule: August 17-22

Maranatha Athletics is just getting started with our first volleyball matches this week, as well as our first home football game this Friday at 7:00 pm on The Keith Family Field. 
 
We are looking forward to returning to Friday nights under the lights, and watching our gym teams play inside a newly renovated gymnasium! 
 
Varsity Girls’ Volleyball kicked off our Fall season and picked up a big 3-1 win over Paramount High School last Thursday night to start their season. The team’s next games are this Friday, followed by the South El Monte Tournament this Saturday.  
 
Varsity Football participated in the Monrovia scrimmage in preparation for their first game vs. Dominguez High School this Friday, August 21, at 7:00 pm.
 
Please Note: 
  • Maranatha's All-Sports Night event will take place this Wednesday, August 19, at 7:00 pm inside the Maranatha Gymnasium. All families are welcome to join us as we share information about our Athletics policies and procedures for student-athletes, families, and the community.  
  • The first home game to be held inside the newly renovated gymnasium will be on Tuesday, September 1, when Girls’ Volleyball plays Calvary Chapel.

Boys' and Girls' Cross Country

Girls' Golf

Girls' Volleyball

Girls' Tennis
