The California Department of Public Health, along with the LA County and Pasadena Public Health Departments, have issued updated COVID-19 guidelines for schools. The regulation regarding face masks remains unchanged and states that masks must be worn when indoors while attending or participating in any school function.
With the recent uptick in Covid cases in LA County due to the variant strain, we also encourage you to continue to practice health and safety measures outside of school activities, including wearing a mask when visiting a crowded indoor space, physical distancing, and frequent hand washing.
