This Fall's Show is "Time" Well Spent

Madeleine L’Engle’s classic story “A Wrinkle In Time” is coming to life on the stage of the Ambassador Auditorium!
Maranatha High School’s Theatre Department presents the full stage version of the timeless classic “A Wrinkle In Time” from November 9-10. There will be evening performances both Friday and Saturday at 7:00 p.m. and a matinee performance at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 10. Everything will happen on the stage of the Ambassador Auditorium. Both actors and audience will occupy the friendly confines of the Ambassador stage. There will be a thrust stage built on the stage itself that will be surrounded by stadium seating for the audience. This will provide for the close connection between audience and actor that is so essential to good theatre. As the audience, you will be close enough to literally reach and touch the actors on the stage. And the actors will be given the opportunity to reach out and “touch” your heart with this amazing story.

This will also be the directorial debut for our new theatre director, James Duke. He is surrounded by a stellar cast of Maranatha students, bringing to life the characters in this play, and “characters” they most definitely are. From the three slightly eccentric characters of Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Which and Mrs. Who, to the perpetually joyful Happy Medium, who will all be taking our heroes Meg, Charles Wallace, and Calvin on the adventure of a lifetime.

Since we are seating the audience on the stage of the Ambassador, seating is limited to 150 per show, so get your tickets early. You may purchase tickets online at the Maranatha Box Office HERE for $10 general admission and $8 for students.

We look forward to seeing you there!
