Maranatha Traditions Kick Off a New School Year

Maranatha High School launched their 2018-2019 school year on Friday, August 17 with Maranatha students, faculty, and staff joining together for “Uprising.”
Uprising is the much-anticipated event that helps students establish new friendships and create lasting memories while having an endless amount of fun, laughter, and good old-fashioned class competition.
But "welcome back" events designed to celebrate community and God’s faithfulness to the school don’t stop at Uprising. The annual Back to School Family BBQ is tomorrow evening, August 21, with over 900 Maranatha family members and staff coming to enjoy the “Back to the Future” themed event on the South Lawn.
It was exciting to see all returning and new Maranatha students, faculty, and staff during the first full day of school today with tons of energy and excitement for the upcoming year.
