Senior Elena Flores Proudly Represents Maranatha Through Service

Elena Flores has gone above and beyond to represent Maranatha High School and the City of Pasadena during her four years of high school.
Coming from a private school, the City of Pasadena allowed her to be involved in many of the community programs that are normally offered to Pasadena Unified School District students only, and over the last three years, she has certainly made a difference while representing Maranatha.

During her three years at Maranatha, Elena has accumulated more than 1,000 hours of service. She has been involved in feeding the homeless at the Jackie Robinson Senior center, volunteering at the Rose Bowl to pick up trash after events, and is a Tournament of Rose's Ambassador. Elena, who was accepted to nine universities, will be attending Loyola Marymount University in the fall. She is currently employed by the City of Pasadena as a City Ambassador Manager and is currently interning at the Pasadena District Attorney’s Office.

Maranatha High School is proud of Elena for her commitment to serving others.
