Minutemen Head to CIF Competition
With the spring athletic season drawing to a close, we are proud of the successes of our Minutemen.
Our student-athletes put forth their best efforts and the rewards followed. Five of our seven teams advanced on to CIF Playoffs! Softball finished the season as Co-Olympic League Champions and will play their 1st Round CIF game this Thursday at home at 3:15 p.m. Baseball has been on a hot streak, ending their season 12-0 (a first for Maranatha Baseball) as Olympic League Champions! They begin CIF Playoffs this Friday, hosting their first round game at Stengel Field at 3:15 p.m. Tennis also won their Olympic League Championship, but lost in their 1st Round of playoffs last week. We congratulate them on another excellent season. Our Swim Team finished strong, with several of our athletes having competed in CIF Prelims and Finals. Track also had a number of athletes compete in CIF Prelims last Saturday, with a few moving on to CIF Finals this Saturday.
