Embrace in the Present and Love the Process of “Transitions”

Maranatha’s Dance Company, Mixed Ensemble and Orchestra will be performing in the Spring Showcase “Transitions” this Friday and Saturday, April 27-28 at 7:00 p.m. in the Ambassador Auditorium.
Through dance and music, they will seek to illustrate some of the transitions that we all face. Ecclesiastes 3 tells us that there is a season for everything in our lives; a time to laugh and cry, to mourn and rejoice, to war and make peace. Performing Arts at Maranatha will be speaking, through performance, about these seasons. This show will illustrate the fact that, whether the change is relational, spiritual, educational or financial, until we stand in the presence of Jesus, we will never fully arrive.
Our dancers and musicians will perform their way through some of the most popular music of today as well as the timeless classics that illustrate transition. Come ready to experience selections from “Hamilton” and “The Greatest Showman,” as well as music and dance that has reflected change down through the ages.

Tickets are being sold at $10 for general admission and $8 for students, and will be available at the door as well as at maranathahighschool.org/boxoffice. Parents and students can use their myMHS account to purchase online; just click on the Performing Arts Box Office icon on the Resource tab.

So join us as we embrace the present and love the process. Because, until God calls us home, our “transition” is never complete.
