You’ve never seen the story of The Princess of the Pea told like this! Once Upon a Mattress is a rollicking spin on the classic tale. Come join us for a night of laughter, love, and mischief.
The Queen has declared that no couples in the kingdom may wed until her son, Prince Dauntless, has found a suitable princess to be his bride. No princess could ever pass Queen Aggravain’s test, that is until Princess Winnifred the Woebegone arrives. Will such a brash and unrefined princess be able to pass the Sensitivity Test? Will Dauntless find love? We’ll find out in this side-splitting, musical comedy!
Once Upon a Mattress teaches us to look at the heart of others. Princess Winnifred may not fit the delicate and dainty mold of a princess, yet she unites the kingdom through her genuine love for all people.
The musical is just two weeks after we return from Winter Break in the Ambassador Auditorium and there are four performances: Thursday, March 9, at 7:00 pm, Friday, March 10, at 7:00 pm, Saturday, March 11, at 2:00 and 7:00 pm.
