Come See “Steel Magnolias” This Week!

Get your tickets to see Robert Harling’s true-life story “Steel Magnolias” on stage this Thursday and Saturday.
Maranatha’s Arts Department is kicking off their 2022-2023 theatrical season with the comedic drama “Steel Magnolias.” Our Advanced Theater students will take to the stage in our new performance venue, the Student Center main floor, to tell the story of six women in a small community of Louisiana who endure life’s tumults and tragedies with the help of one another’s friendship. The play uses rich storytelling to show how these characters support one another through hilarious and heart wrenching experiences within the cycle of life.

There are only three performances: Thursday, September 22, at 7:00 pm, and Saturday, September 24, at 2:00 and 7:00 pm.

Tickets on sale through our online box office and space is limited, so purchase your tickets today.

Volunteer help is still needed for the show! If you are available to help, the Friends of Maranatha Arts is looking for volunteers to help with concessions, candy grams, and flower sales, and striking the set. You can sign up to help on their SignUp Genius post HERE.
