Maranatha Student Appears on Television

You never know where you might spot one of Maranatha’s students, but one junior recently ended up on TV!
Gyselle Hernandez ’23 answered questions from reporters from the most prestigious Spanish news channel, Noticias Telemundo. You can watch her brief interview online HERE (fast forward to timestamp 14:55 to hear her comments). Gyselle’s AP Spanish teacher, Mrs. Breitenbucher, shared the video and is very proud of her student’s poise and confidence.

In the news segment about water conservation, Gyselle tells the reporter, “Yes, gardens are beautiful and look good in a yard, but it is not anything essential, so it makes sense to only have them water their garden twice a week." This way California can save water for more essential causes.
