Our campus has re-opened and activities are finally resuming, which means parent volunteers are needed more than ever!
Currently, there are several opportunities for parents to get involved while also earning Parent Service Program (PSP) hours. You can view a current list of volunteer opportunities on Maranatha’s SignUp Genius page.
Want to earn hours right away? Here are a couple of the immediate needs:
Athletic Events Volunteers (needed April 1 and 10): Several volunteers are needed to assist with our home football games taking place on April 1st and 10th (during Easter Break). Since only parents of the players are permitted as spectators at the games, we need other parents to assist with gate access and working the “chain gang”. If you are able to help, please sign up on our SignUp Genius post HERE. As more home games are scheduled, additional volunteer opportunities will be posted.
Spring Showcase and Arts Festival (needed April 16 and 17): Over 2 dozen parent volunteers are still needed to help with concessions, directing traffic, and checking tickets for these two events, hosted by the Performing and Visual Arts Departments. If you can help on one or both of these days, please visit our SignUp Genius post HERE to sign up.
The Parent Association is also seeking 2-3 parents to chair the Used Uniform Sales for the 2021-2022 school year. Chairpersons would manage a team of volunteers to collect and wash used uniforms, as well as oversee two Used Uniform Sales during the year - one in the summer and the second at the Back to School Family BBQ. This is a great way to get all of your volunteer hours for the year (20 PSP hours are given to chairpersons). Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if interested.
