Last week, our school donated boxes and bags of pantry and hygiene products to support community members in need.
Maranatha High School hosted its first all-school Food Drive to support the local Pasadena non-profit organization, Stars (formerly the Lake Avenue Community Foundation). The donations collected on March 25th and 26th were transported this morning to the Stars facility by Maranatha’s facilities team and our Dean of Students, Mike Mancini, who helped coordinate the effort. The volunteers and staff at Stars were delighted to receive the truckload of donated items, and grateful for the kindness and generosity of all who contributed to this effort. The donations will help them provide nutritious meals and grocery items to local families in need.
