A Night of Visual and Performing Arts

Our Visual and Performing Arts students will be in the spotlight during a special 2-night event in April.
This year’s Arts Festival and Performing Arts Showcase will take place on Friday and Saturday, April 16-17. Both events have been re-imagined by some of the most creative minds in the industry, providing patrons with an entertaining experience in safe, open-air environments.

Tickets are now on sale for the Performing Arts Showcase “What a Wonderful World”, featuring performances by our dance, instrumental, and vocal music students, who will be tracing the history of jazz from its roots in New Orleans to the present day. Bring your lawn chairs, sit out under the stars, and enjoy a night of Springtime magic.

Prior to the Showcase, from 3:00-7:00 pm, our annual Arts Festival will feature original art pieces, created by our students. Their work will be on display in a walk-through, interactive exhibit in our parking structure. Art enthusiasts will want to complete their artistic excursion by purchasing a charcuterie box from the Friends of Maranatha Arts group, and make it a picnic dinner as they enjoy viewing student film projects at 7:30 pm on the Keith Family Field, followed by the Showcase.

Tickets for the Showcase are very limited and the show will sell out early, so visit our online box office today. Families may purchase a maximum of 2 “family spaces”, which includes admission for a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 4 (children 5 years and younger will not count towards your occupancy total). Groups with more than 4 people in your party must purchase a second "family space". Each space will be physically distanced from the next space. Covid health protocols will be enforced. PLEASE NOTE: Our Showcase consists of approximately 50 student performers, yet we can only accommodate 35 “family spaces” per night. In order to allow every performer's family to be able to attend one of the performances, we are permitting each family to only purchase two "family spaces". A recording of the show will be available at a later date on our Video-on-Demand website, for extended families and friends that would like to see the performance. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to ensure local health guidelines are followed and our community is kept healthy and safe.
