College Board Updates Regarding Future SAT Testing

Important information is available for Maranatha students who need to register for the SAT exam.
Students who registered for the June 6th SAT test or SAT subject test will not be able to take the test on that date. The College Board is unable to administer the tests in alignment with public health guidance and school closures due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

In regards to future SAT testing, the College Board has decided that if it is deemed safe by public health officials, the College Board will provide weekend SAT administrations every month through the end of 2020, beginning in August. This includes a new administration on September 26 and the previously scheduled tests on August 29, October 3, November 7, and December 5.

Maranatha students can start registering for these SAT testing days starting in May. The College Board will contact students directly during the week of May 26 to provide an exact date, and any eligible student can register with a fee waiver.

Students may get early access to register for August, September, and October if they’re:

  • Already registered for June
  • In the high school class of 2021 and don’t have SAT scores
