Save a Life by Donating Your Blood this Friday

Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. Did you know that a single donation can potentially save up to 3 lives?
Maranatha has partnered with the American Red Cross by hosting a blood drive on our campus three times each year, and the Sports Medicine Club will be holding their first blood drive of the year this Friday, October 11 in the Maranatha Gym from 8:00-2:00 p.m. We encourage all Maranatha students, faculty, and staff to sign up in the Athletic Training room during break, lunch, or after school this week. Students must be at least 16 years of age to donate and must pick up a permission slip from the Athletic Training room. Anyone else walking in who wishes to expedite the process can fill out a RapidPass online (https://www.redcrossblood.org/donate-blood/manage-my-donations/rapidpass.html)

If you have any questions about the blood drive, please contact Alicia Vessey at a_vessey@mhs-hs.org.
