Watch balls “skydive” from a helicopter at the Annual Golf Tournament hosted by the Athletic Booster Club!
On Monday, October 28, Maranatha will be hosting its annual Golf Tournament at the La Canada Flintridge Country Club. Newly introduced to this year’s Golf Tournament is the Helicopter Ball Drop. Balls will be dropped from a helicopter at the Golf Tournament, and the ball or balls that land in the hole will be awarded $1,000 cash prize (or divided amongst the number of balls in the hole). Even if you are not in attendance at the Golf Tournament you can still try your luck at the Helicopter Ball Drop. Each ball is $10 or you may purchase 11 balls for $100, or you can purchase as many balls as you like.
Also new to the Annual Golf Tournament is the 1st Annual Hall of Fame Dinner immediately following the tournament along with an auction of items. The Hall of Fame Dinner will honor a few Maranatha alumni and former coaches for their excellence in athletics as well as being outstanding members of our Maranatha community.
