Spanish Honor Society Raises Money for Pulsera

Congratulations to the Spanish Honor Society who successfully raised $2,000 for the Pulsera Project.
Maranatha’s Spanish Honor Society successfully raised $2,000 for their first Pulsera Project sale, a nonprofit organization that educates, empowers, and connects Central American artists with students in more than 2,500 U.S. schools through the sale of colorful hand-woven bracelets, or “pulseras” in Spanish.

The Spanish Honor Society would like to thank Maranatha’s students, faculty, and staff who helped make the Pulsera Project a big success. Spanish faculty member and SHS Advisor Sra. Alba Breitenbucher said, “Our accomplishment was possible because of everyone’s support. The money raised from the pulsera sale will empower nearly 200 Nicaraguans with employment opportunities, educational programs, scholarship, micro-loans, and other community projects that lead them towards a brighter future.”
