Juniors and Seniors Celebrate “Across the Stars” Prom in Downtown LA

Maranatha juniors and seniors enjoyed a memorable evening above the city at this year’s Prom, held this past Saturday at Elevate Rooftop Lounge in Downtown Los Angeles. Themed “Across the Stars,” the event invited students to dress up, dance, take photos, and celebrate together with the Downtown LA skyline as the backdrop.

Set on the 24th floor, the rooftop venue offered sweeping views of the city and a lively atmosphere for the 240 students in attendance. Students enjoyed food, drinks, a DJ and dance floor, a photo booth, and plenty of time to make memories with friends and classmates.

For senior Mia Su, the highlight of the evening was the chance to spend time with friends before graduation. “The views of Downtown L.A. were beautiful,” she shared, “but the memories I made with my friends made the night even more special.” She described the atmosphere as “high-energy, lively, and captivating,” adding that it was meaningful to enjoy “one last dance” with friends and classmates before graduation.

A special congratulations goes to this year’s Prom King and Prom Queen, Blake O’Brien ’26 and Darin Goodman ’26, who were announced and celebrated during the evening.

Thank you to our student leaders, faculty, and staff who helped make Prom 2026 such a fun and memorable night for our juniors and seniors.
