Step into a world where truth, imagination, and the power of belief collide as Maranatha's Theatre Department presents its Fall production of The Light Burns Blue, November 13-14 in the Student Center. Tickets are on sale now!
Inspired by the true story of the Cottingley Fairies, The Light Burns Blue takes audiences back to 1917, during World War I, when a young girl named Elsie Wright captures photographs of fairies that spark a worldwide sensation. As her village struggles with grief and loss, the mysterious images offer hope and comfort to those longing for a connection with loved ones. But when a determined journalist questions their authenticity, the story takes a compelling turn, exploring the delicate balance between truth, imagination, and the human need to believe.
Join us for this thought-provoking production as our talented student cast and crew bring this moving story to life!
