• International Student Program Details

  Students in Maranatha’s International Student Program have the opportunity to participate in our strong college prep program with 22 AP level courses and 23 Honors Level courses. Under the support of our International Student Program Department, College Counselors, and Advisors, our international students also receive extra orientation, preparation, and support throughout their high school experience. Our experienced faculty also develop relationships with the students to support them through the high school years and into university acceptance.
  
  Maranatha International Students actively engage in student leadership, competitive academic contests, visual and performing arts, athletics, and community service.

  International Student Admissions for the 2026-2027 academic year is open.  Applications are considered as they are submitted followed by interviews for qualifying applicants (all items on the application checklist are required before consideration).

  2. You will receive an email from Maranatha High School. Please follow the instructions on the email to create an account.

• Living Options for International Students

  Maranatha partners with different companies to provide host families for international students. Students who apply through consultants should live with the host families provided by their consultants unless otherwise specified.

• Summer Institute

  Summer Institute: New International Students will participate in our 2-week Summer Institute beginning at the end of July. The Summer Institute fee of $3,000 covers the complete program. Students take the Math placement test and receive an overview of Western education and culture. Students also receive an orientation to our curriculum, including English class, English literature and grammar preparation, US History, Speech, and Bible, in addition to a chaperoned exploration of popular sites of Southern California. Our students always remember this program as a highlight of their Maranatha experience. This program gives our new international students an opportunity to develop relationships with each other, with teachers and staff, and to become familiar with our campus before school begins.
