The final week of school is here, and it is full of meaningful milestones as we celebrate our students, honor the Class of 2026, and look ahead to summer.
Final exams conclude on Wednesday, May 20. Seniors should remain on campus that day for Graduation Rehearsal from 12:00-2:00 pm, with lunch provided in the Student Center at noon. Seniors who signed up for Grad Nite will depart campus by bus shortly after rehearsal.
On Friday, May 22, the Oliver Honors Institute will honor its graduating seniors during a special ceremony in God’s Garden at 4:15 pm. Later that evening, the Maranatha community will gather for Baccalaureate from 6:00-7:30 pm in the Ambassador Auditorium. Seniors should arrive at the Student Center by 5:30 pm.
The week culminates with the Class of 2026 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 23, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm on The Keith Family Field. Seniors should arrive at the Student Center no later than 9:00 am. On-field seating is available for ticket holders, with gates opening at 9:00 am, and additional unticketed grandstand seating will be available on the north side of the field. Families are strongly encouraged to carpool, as parking will be limited. Senior families may also pre-order commemorative photos by texting 76899GY2690738. The ceremony will be filmed, and a recording will be posted to our Minutemen TV web page by the following day.
Please note that campus will be closed May 25-30 while crews replace and upgrade the electrical infrastructure in the Student Center.
Finally, students returning to Maranatha in the fall may have summer assignments to complete, depending on their courses. Families can review the full list of assignments on the Summer Assignments page of our website HERE.
We are grateful for a wonderful school year and look forward to celebrating these final moments together before summer begins.
