Athletics News and Game Schedule: April 20-25
With league play heating up and important matchups ahead before CIF-SS playoffs, it’s a great time to come out and support our teams as they finish out their seasons! Take a look at what’s on deck this week!
Baseball heads into the week with a Tuesday, April 21, non-league match-up against Charter Oak at home at 5:00 pm, while JV plays away at Charter Oak at 3:30 pm.
Varsity Boys’ Volleyball finishes out their season with a non-league match-up on Monday, April 20, away at EF Academy at 5:00 pm before heading into CIF-SS Playoffs.
Boys’ Golf - The team takes on the Walnut High School End-of-Year Tournament at California Country Club on Monday, April 20, at 7:00 am, and on Tuesday, both JV and Varsity have matches. Varsity will play against Whittier Christian at La Mirada GC at 4:15 pm, and JV will take on West Covina at Whittier Narrows at 2:30 pm. Their Senior Night is set for Friday, April 24, against Village Christian at Santa Anita GC at 2:15 pm.
Varsity Boys’ Tennis competes on Tuesday, April 21, at 3:30 pm at PHS against New Roads in the team’s Senior Night match for Reggie Park and Russell Sze.
Swimming & Diving takes on Da Vinci Wiseburn on Tuesday, April 21, at 3:30 pm before their Senior Day on Tuesday, April 28, at home.
Track & Field is preparing for Olympic League Prelims and Finals, which will be hosted at Heritage Christian High School on April 28 and April 30 at 5:00 pm.
Softball - Varsity Softball takes the field Tuesday at home against Whittier Christian, and their Senior Night game is set to be rescheduled from 4/24 - more details to be announced soon!
