A Beautiful Evening Celebrating 60 Years of Maranatha

On Saturday, March 7, the Maranatha community gathered at the LA Arboretum for a memorable evening celebrating our school’s 60th Anniversary at this year’s Gala.

More than 250 parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends joined together for a meaningful night that reflected on God’s faithfulness in the past and cast a vision for Maranatha’s future. Throughout the evening, guests were invited to look back with gratitude on the school’s rich history while also looking ahead to the future. A special highlight of the night was the unveiling of a large original painting by beloved former Maranatha art teacher Kay Rouse, beautifully depicting all seven of Maranatha’s campuses over the years. The artwork offered a moving tribute to the school’s journey and legacy.

The Gala also introduced a compelling vision for the First Impressions campaign, which will transform the southern portion of our campus and enhance the experience of students, families, and guests for years to come. We are grateful to share that the event raised more than $300,000 in support of this important effort.

We are deeply thankful to everyone who made the evening possible, especially our generous sponsors, underwriters, and donors, as well as all who attended, gave, served, and supported the event in so many ways. Visit our online photo album HERE to view more highlights from this special evening.
