School spirit, cherished traditions, and unforgettable moments filled the Maranatha campus last week as students, families, and alumni came together for an incredible Homecoming celebration!
The excitement kicked off Tuesday with a high-energy Pep Rally, setting the tone for a week filled with school pride, spirited dress-up days, and plenty of Minuteman enthusiasm!
On Friday, the festivities continued with the Athletics Hall of Fame Ceremony, where four distinguished alumni were inducted into the Class of 2026 Hall of Fame, honoring their outstanding athletic achievements and lasting contributions to Maranatha's legacy.
The celebration then moved to The Keith Family Field for the Homecoming Football Game, where the stands were filled with cheering fans and a tremendous sense of community. Returning alumni and their families received VIP treatment in the special Alumni Zone, complete with on-field viewing that brought them closer to the action.
Halftime was especially memorable, featuring an exciting performance by Maranatha's Dance Company and the highly anticipated crowning of our 2026 Homecoming King and Queen, Caleb Kwa and Nighdely Reyna. Congratulations to our Homecoming royalty!
The festivities wrapped up Saturday evening with the Rhythm of Rio Homecoming Dance, as students gathered in the MHS Gym for a fun-filled night of music, dancing, and memories with friends.
From the energy of the pep rally to the celebration of our alumni, the excitement of Friday Night Lights, and the joy of Saturday's dance, Homecoming Week was a wonderful reminder of what makes the Maranatha community so special. Thank you to our students, faculty, staff, families, and alumni who helped make Homecoming 2026 such a memorable success!
