National Honor Society Applications Now Open

Students who are interested in becoming a member of the National Honor Society must be a sophomore, junior, or senior. National Honor Society recognizes students' character, scholarship, leadership, and service. Students are selected for membership by majority vote of a 5-member Faculty Council, which bestows this honor upon qualified students on behalf of the faculty of our school each year.

 

To apply, students must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 and an excellent record of behavior in and outside of Maranatha. Applications can be obtained from NHS Advisor Devan Douglass, or by joining the NHS flexes in the month of October. 

 

NHS applications will be accepted until 3:20 pm on October 30, 2026. No late applications will be accepted. All previous NHS members will receive a returning member contract at the first meeting, which will be held during co-curricular lunch on Monday, October 19,  in the Commons.
