2026 Summer Academy Brochure, Registration, and New Academic Policy Update
We are pleased to share our 2026 Summer Academy Brochure and registration form, along with an important update regarding a new academic policy designed to strengthen our students’ educational experience and ensure consistency across our curriculum.
New Course Requirement
Effective immediately, Maranatha High School is implementing a new policy requiring all courses to be taken through Maranatha. This means students will no longer be permitted to take courses through outside institutions or online providers, with limited exceptions available through our appeal process.
Why This Change?
This policy supports three core commitments:
Academic Integrity We maintain control over course rigor, assessment standards, and academic honesty protocols.
Course Quality All courses meet our high academic standards and satisfy our graduation requirements.
Curriculum Consistency Students benefit from a cohesive, well-coordinated educational experience across all subjects and grade levels.
We understand that some students may have unique circumstances or goals requiring flexibility. An appeal process is available for students who wish to:
Fast-track their academic progress
Address extenuating personal circumstances
Pursue specialized learning opportunities
Students and families interested in submitting an appeal should contact their college counselor.
Supporting Your Student: New Summer School Option
To support this transition and provide additional academic opportunities, Maranatha is piloting an online Summer School program. This summer, we are offering Modern World History as an online course. Additional subjects may be added in future years based on enrollment and demand.
We believe these changes will strengthen academic quality and support student success at Maranatha. If you have questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
