Co-Curricular Lunches Bring More Opportunities Into the School Day

Maranatha’s expanded Co-Curricular Lunch program gives students dedicated time during the school day to explore interests, build skills, and connect with their school community without adding more after-school commitments.

Held every Monday and Friday, Co-Curricular Lunch offers a variety of activities. On Mondays, students may participate in athletic meetings, film study and conditioning, student clubs, or six-week performing arts intensives in dance, choir, and band that culminate in a performance opportunity.

Fridays feature teacher-led interest workshops, additional time for clubs to meet and collaborate, and off-campus lunch privileges for eligible seniors.

Most Co-Curricular Lunch activities are built directly into students’ schedules through Flex, while performing arts intensives require a six-week commitment. With these opportunities incorporated into the school day, students have even more ways to discover new interests, develop leadership skills, and get involved at Maranatha.
