Help Combat Human Trafficking in Dressember

Help Maranatha’s Spiritual Life Committee reach their goal to stop human trafficking!
The Dressember Foundation is an organization that focuses on taking a stand against human trafficking through the simple act of wearing a dress or putting on a tie. It exists to inspire and empower a global community of like-minded women who are locking arms to face one of the greatest injustices of our time. Maranatha began their participation in Dressember back in 2016, and with huge successes over the last two years, the students of Maranatha have decided to participate in the Dressember campaign again!

Dressember is a fantastic opportunity for the students of Maranatha to come together in an effort to combat human trafficking. As a community, we can take a stand against modern day slavery through this campaign and continue on in the journey of unity in the community. By participating in Dressember once again, we can portray not only the urgency of such an issue but the idea of embracing Dressember as a yearly Maranatha tradition. Over the years, as Dressember continues on this campus, students will witness the impact it has on this campus and the growth that comes out of it.

To participate in Dressember, students will need to donate $10.00 to the Maranatha Dressember team. Females would wear dresses and males would wear a button-up shirt and a tie on every Friday of the month. A list of those who have donated would be delivered to the front desk and wrist bands would be passed out at the front desk in order to distinguish those who have donated.

Students will be reminded that this campaign is a 31-day challenge to continue outside of school and a social justice issue to continue to fight against throughout the entire year. You can donate today by clicking on the link HERE to help combat human trafficking.
