8th Grade Visitation Was a Welcoming Success

Maranatha students, faculty, and staff welcomed prospective students with cheers and open arms!
On Thursday, October 18, Maranatha welcomed over 200 eighth grade students from over 40 different middle schools to our 8th Grade Visitation Day! Visiting students got to experience what it was like to be a high school student at Maranatha for an entire morning. Eighth graders were welcomed with the roaring cheers of the Maranatha community, were engaged in various games during the pep rally, and were then able to visit five different classes where they had the opportunity to engage in hands-on activities and projects with teachers and current students.

Next, the entire Maranatha community, along with the eighth graders, headed over to Chapel to listen to guest speaker Brian Holland from Purpose Church. The morning ended with all eighth graders, faculty and staff leaders, and fellow Maranatha Student Ambassadors joining together for a pizza lunch in the Student Center. The 8th Grade Visitation Day was a huge success and enjoyed by everyone involved!
