Back to School Night is This Wednesday!

If you are a parent that is planning on attending your child’s Back to School Night, please note that parent registration for Back to School Night will begin at 5:30 p.m. on the Athletic Plaza outside theGym, followed by a welcome meeting in the Maranatha Gym at 6:15 p.m. and class visitations at 6:35 p.m. Back to School Night will conclude around 8:45 p.m. You will be able to pick up your child’s class schedule, a campus map, and a Back to School Night schedule at the registration table.

 

The event will begin with a welcome by Maranatha’s Principal, John Rouse, followed by our Head of School, Dr. Steven Sherman, who will be addressing our new and returning parents. This will be followed by the introductions of the administration team and the advisory team.

 

Parents will then have the opportunity to experience a day in the life of their son and/or daughter at Maranatha, beginning with a brief meeting with your child’s Advisory Group leader. The night will also include introductions from Maranatha faculty who will be sharing specific details pertaining to their class, and there will be time to ask questions about course curricula and assessment practices. The evening will then conclude with an Advanced Placement (AP) information session for all parents of current or future AP students.
