This Week in Athletics

Maranatha Boys’ Varsity Soccer defended the home pitch last week and picked up 3 pivotal wins against Olympic League opponents. Included in that stretch of games was a Friday night home victory against Valley Christian. The Varsity Soccer Team now stands at 4-0-1 in Olympic League play and a 12-7-2 overall record. Girls’ Varsity Soccer was able to pick up a home win last week as the Lady Minutemen secured a 2-0 victory over Heritage Christian last Tuesday. 

 

Boys’ Varsity Basketball Team now sits at 12-12 and remains a Top 3 team in the Olympic League. This week the team is set to host Village Christian on Tuesday, January 24, and Heritage Christian on Thursday, January 26, at home where the Minutemen will look to solidify a Top 3 finish in the Olympic League.

 

Girls’ Basketball is coming off a big 42-19 win over Valley Christian on Friday night and looks to defend their home court this week against Village Christian on Tuesday, January 24, and Heritage Christian on Thursday, January 26.
