Athletics Update

FOOTBALL: Congratulations to Maranatha and our football program for putting together an undefeated season this year! A big shout out to our Maranatha community for traveling as far as Palm Desert this past Friday in support of our team and program! The Minutemen were able to hold off the Desert Christian Conquerors and put up an impressive 42-13 victory, solidifying an undefeated season. Kudos to our coaches, players, teachers, and staff for assisting in a historic turnaround for a program which had a 1-9 season in 2021. Our Minutemen will be taking on Santa Rosa Academy this Friday, November 4, at 7:00 pm at Maranatha. We hope to pack the stands to capacity as we look to cheer on and support the team. Hope to see you ALL there! (Note: CIF playoff games require attendees to purchase a ticket before arriving at the game. A GoFan link to purchase tickets will be posted on our school’s website calendar by Thursday 11/3.)

CROSS COUNTRY: Cross Country will be competing in the Olympic League Final this Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 4:00 pm at the Arroyo Seco Trails Course.

- 2:00 pm - Girls’ Varsity Tennis: CIF Round 1 Team Match at Pasadena HS
Thursday, November 3 (A Day)
- 4:00 pm - Cross Country at Olympic League Final Meet at Arroyo Seco Trails
Friday, November 4 (B Day)
- 7:00 pm - Varsity Football at home vs Santa Rosa Academy for CIF Round 1 Playoffs
