Minutemen Athletics

Maranatha Athletics is off to a R-E-D H-O-T start this year!
Having won their last 2 games at home, Girls’ Volleyball currently stands at 5-4. This week, the Lady Minutemen look to keep their streak alive when they face Arcadia HS (Away) and Woodrow Wilson HS (Away).

Cross Country has now participated in two weekend events, and Coach Eaton and our team are preparing for the first Olympic League Meet to be hosted at Arroyo Seco on September 28 at 4:00 pm, our team’s first League contest.

Girls’ Tennis currently stands at 1-1 on the year, having won in the season opener against Pasadena HS and losing to San Gabriel HS in their second match. This week, Head Coach Arthur Hsieh and the girls’ tennis team take on Mark Keppel and South Pasadena on Tuesday and Thursday respectively. Good luck ladies!

Football - Coach Rand Holdren and the Minutemen continue to make some noise as they go into this Friday's home game against Bishop Montgomery 2-0 in front of our home-town crowd. Make sure you pack the stands for Fan Appreciation Night this Friday! More information to follow.

Thank you to Cheer Coach Heather Artura, and our own Mrs. Beth Romero, for continuing to bring a lively sense of school spirit to our school events, athletic games, and Friday nights with the Cheer team’s energy and support! We definitely appreciate your team creating a fun, positive experience at our events.
