Congressional Arts Competition Winner

by Diane Barnhart, Visual Arts Faculty
I recently attended the virtual Congressional Arts Competition for the 28th District (Adam Schiff), an annual contest in which our students from that district participate.

Out of the many area high school students who entered their work, our very own Maddy Kwan won 2nd prize for her artwork entitled, "Redefining Self". Her winning work will hang in Congressman Schiff's Washington, DC office for a year. These competitions are not easy to win, so this is a huge accomplishment for Maddy and we couldn't be more proud.
